Morn to Fading Twilight

There was an innocence abroad then, and all was eager and fair; battles to be won and freedom crowned whilst I yet had the blue-black hair. And in that misty morn of life, hope, justice and love seemed assured; but as twilight fades, experience says naught else but love endures. A people get what a people deserve and earn – that’s what you learn. lucky at least to know that true love can suffice for all that one’s heart might yearn.
